James and Rebecca

They say being a wedding photographer is a sacrifice, giving up your Saturdays to enjoy in somebody elses happiness. That it is a lot of 'giving', and yes agreed a lot of dedication is required. Though I ponder today the whole philosophy as I look back on James and Rebecca's wedding.
A  lovely roadtrip to Cootamundra:  pretty countryside tick, a quick coffee stop and friendly country faces tick, and devine blue skies, tick.   My first impression as I arrived at the family property and wandered through the garden transformed with lovely lanterns and the buzz of wedding day preparations,  was the sweet sound of the string quartet going through their paces, mixed with  little birds singing. Then I find the gorgeous bridesmaids,  (contenders..like for the most helpful bridesmaids of the universe badge, undoubtedly) The most gorgeous of brides whom despite it being her wedding day, was concerned if I had had some lunch? .. and then the dashing groom who made me continuously laugh throughout the day. I blame you for my wrinkles.

So,  I pinch myself how lucky (again)  I am to have a job like this. Here is a little piece of happiness for me and a lifetime for James and Rebecca.

Dermot + Shelley

Remember this gorgeous couple? Dermot and Shelley the farm boy meets  girly girl. When I first met them I had so much fun, we laughed a lot, I also got to see for myself the love and devotion they had for each other. So when I had the pleasure of joining them for their wedding day in the little country town of Temora, yup City friends, google that, I knew it would be a day to remember.  I say City friends, as on a personal note I wish to point out the country girls can ROCK THE BLING just as good as any city girl.  Shelley you looked globally fab/ and Dermot very handsome as well. Thankyou, I felt like part of this lovely family and am so happy to share this beautiful  day with you.  Enjoy xt

Daniel + Tully

Oh lovely days, how lucky I was to be asked along for the wedding of Daniel and Tully, yes Tully, short for  nothing just gorgeous Tully. Super stylish and a couple you just want to be around (can't we pleaaase run away and just take pictures all day?) a lot of 'we just got married' giggles, wildflowers, champagne and the sound of the bush settting the scene for a beautiful day at Peregrines, Table Top mountain near Albury NSW,  a secluded little part of our world and one of my fave locations to do this thing, like lets get hitched baby!

A special thanks to my trusty side kick for the day the loveliest Jen Boote, love having you around. Just  as much as I love little wedding dresses from New York city.. and personalised water bottles that say 'Tul + Dan'..and Proteas..and lordy so much more. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did x t
