Andy + Renee

I always have an idea of what to expect from a couple, and to give you an idea about Renee and Andy's wedding day, I would find myself digressing to the point of breathless excitement when the bride 'to be' told me about her gorgeous hand made treats, the little love notes with the old typewriter, the vows, the service.. everything was done with such passion, after all she had found her man, and this day was to be a celebration.  When the day finally arrived, the gorgeous  bride wore Vera Wang, and although I do love the sound of this sentence,  the day was not about the dress she wore. (even though it did make for some seriously fabulous jushing) This day was about a girl and a guy, whos path met and they fell in love.
Limitless undying love which shines  around me like a million suns..
Congratulations Andy and Renee and thank you for not only choosing one of my favorite Beatle songs for your wedding, but thank you for choosing me. Here are just a few images from their special day.                                                x t

strolling down a memory lane

I recently went back to my home town, which I don't get to do too much now that my family have moved away, almost everyone I knew has left town. Strange shops have appeared in the main-street that act like they've been there forever. But my memories will always be Mum shopping at Millers (the supermarket, and even when it changed names, it was still Millers) Friday night fish n' chips from the  'Black Cat' and heading down to Willoughbys bend for a dip in summer.  Deni I love you still. But its not the picture postcard that makes me love her so.. its the friends, the family, the fights with my sister,  the yabbie catching, the 80's.. who could deny the 80's?
So now there's a new big Coles Express, either way, I am still going to Millers and my memories will remain.

Meanwhile meet Ed, he could not get any more handsome (I know! read previous posts ..little boys!) It is  little wonder he tells me he has not one, but  two girlfriends!.. he also has two very gorgeous sisters, it was such a pleasure meeting this beautiful Deniliquin Family, making their own memories. enjoy x

a little piece of my heart

This is Harry and his Mum. I know I've said it a thousand times.. but little boys do melt my heart.
This little man was too cute not to share, he is such a tough guy too, especially when the 'oh so professional photographer' pushed him a little too high in the swing and he lost grip. I had temporarily forgotton that a toddler doesn't have the same grip as a six year old. Luckily Harry is not just cute but super robust, with a smile that just makes you want to smile too.  enjoy x

lavender fields

Our lovely Ganmain Show girl winner Miss Shannon was the lucky receiver of a peppermint Studios portrait session, and such a fun time was had. This was also the launch of a new package that is all about  pampering and taking some time out to discover the inner woman... Hair, Make-up, Champagne and glamming it up like a cover girl. We haven't  thought of a suitable name for this package and I am hoping for some suggestions.. Maybe the 'Helena Bonham Carter ala Room with a View' package? ...swoon!... and those lavender fields (Patto.. hmmpphh, we don't know what you mean..)
A huge thank you to the amazing Jacquie at Jacquies on Main in Coolamon, don't forget to like her new facebook page HERE..Jacquie was given the brief and the result was absolutely gorgeous, and can I say a beautiful relaxed 'do' for brides looking for ideas. Thank you also to Jess Roberts for her Makeup, Jess will travel  so if you are looking for someone for your special occasion you can contact Jess at Jacquies.
Last but not least, Shannon, thank you and congratulations. The Ganmain Show would be very proud to have you represent their Show, so lovely to spend time in the fields, you are a beautiful girl
                                                                                                                        x enjoy

Pip + Evan

Beautiful pip married her man. It was a ridiculously beautiful  day from start to finish,  the bride with her delicously delicate gown ot Italian lace, wearing comfortable heels and flowers in her hair. The retro lads with their raybans and skinny ties, the bridesmaids in  floral frocks and red heels, the wildflowers, and that look on the grooms face when he first saw his bride....Lets just say thank you Ev and Pip for sharing such a beautiful day....and when it was time for me to pack up my kit and leave the party was  really starting to kick in.. Downside Hall you rocked it, thanks again Evan & Pip   enjoy x

slow down.. you move too fast

I gallavanted recently from airport to wedding to commercial shoot, strategically allocating some personal time in  for that 'work life balance' thingy.. I love it, crazily busy and meeting so many amazing people and loving my job. My diary is overflowing; and strategically colour coded so I am super sorted and feel very organised.  Somedays I go too fast. There (ode to my gorgeous Yoga teacher..) I said it. I admit I am having a hundred ideas all at once most days, and so some days its good to slow down. I mean, I do have my greatest ideas when I'm 'not thinking'. Like lightbulb moments at 3.45am when I'm meant to be sleeping, or when I'm helping do  a jigsaw puzzle.

So after another full on week that included a South Yarra wedding to DIE FOR a retro styled E-session, (I'm excited will share soon!) portraits, commercial work, and being a mother .. and being a wife yada yada. It was nice to spend a weekend at home in the sunshine. I am taking a  leaf (a petal) and a Chillax from Miss E, who spent some quality time tree climbing and daisy chain making, blissful see?

I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep, life I love you all is GROOVY. tap your feet clicked HERE
