James and Rebecca

They say being a wedding photographer is a sacrifice, giving up your Saturdays to enjoy in somebody elses happiness. That it is a lot of 'giving', and yes agreed a lot of dedication is required. Though I ponder today the whole philosophy as I look back on James and Rebecca's wedding.
A  lovely roadtrip to Cootamundra:  pretty countryside tick, a quick coffee stop and friendly country faces tick, and devine blue skies, tick.   My first impression as I arrived at the family property and wandered through the garden transformed with lovely lanterns and the buzz of wedding day preparations,  was the sweet sound of the string quartet going through their paces, mixed with  little birds singing. Then I find the gorgeous bridesmaids,  (contenders..like for the most helpful bridesmaids of the universe badge, undoubtedly) The most gorgeous of brides whom despite it being her wedding day, was concerned if I had had some lunch? .. and then the dashing groom who made me continuously laugh throughout the day. I blame you for my wrinkles.

So,  I pinch myself how lucky (again)  I am to have a job like this. Here is a little piece of happiness for me and a lifetime for James and Rebecca.
